JESP receives rigorous research articles that have not been offered for publication elsewhere. We focus on the original research papers on the aspect of development economics and multidisciplinary. In addition, we accept the articles from Indonesia and other countries, which emphasize a quantitative or using the analytical work which novelty are relevant. We do not publish any critical reviews and book reviews while focusing on accepting papers that are in-depth studies of specific cases, events, or regions that are likely to bring more benefits to developing economics and readership. All papers are prescreened as part of our review process, and some are automatically rejected if papers discuss too broadly. The rejection includes papers that are not considered a good match in terms of topic or methodology as well as papers that do not meet our high expectations in terms of contribution or added value to the field. JESP is indexed by:

JAI is dedicated to the publication of academic work in all aspects relevant to the development of theory and practice of accounting that specifically relates to accountability and investment practices in both the public and private sectors. Previously the focus of JAI covered all accounting related studies. However, since 1st September 2020, we have decided to focus on a more specific scope. JAI's focus on the study of accountability and investment is what differentiates this journal from other accounting journals. Therefore, accounting topics such as Accounting Education, Auditing, Taxation, etc., that are not associated with accountability and investment issues would not get consideration for publication. JAI intends to highlight the practical implications in promoting better decision-making processes within an organization, both private and public sectors, or by an individual. JAI publishes theoretical, conceptual, and empirical (research) papers conducted with various research approaches, namely quantitative, qualitative, mixed-method, and critical.
